bauer mac 2 fly reels RX Reel Charcoal as well as light salt Bauer RX Fly Reel 2

Once an angler discovers a lake that harbours trophy pike, the quest to catch bigger and bigger fish kickstarts

Add a drop shot weight to your line and this rig will get your flies down deep in the stike zone where trout are more likely to bite

Combined with the large 35mm spool, stainless steel bearings and elongated line guide, the Revo SX squeezes every inch out of a cast

Think beyond what you will have just starting out

And to withstand the weight of such metallic or plastic baits (if artificial), the need to use a heavy-duty fishing line undoubtedly becomes necessary as well

One practical application: Topwater lures and this type of line, are very good bedfellows
